Taryn E. Henderson

ATTORNEY

Taryn is the newest member of the firm. She was born and raised in northeast Ohio, completed her undergraduate degree in Economics and English at Grinnell College in Iowa in 2020, and graduated from the Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2024. Before joining the firm, she spent time in New York City with the venture capital firm of Loeb Enterprises; interned with the law firm of Seeley, Savidge, Ebert & Gourash, LPA in Ohio; and clerked for Judge John D. Bates of the Federal District Court for the District of Columbia.

At YC, she focuses her practice on traditional estate planning and administration, but she also takes on taxation and business planning matters. Hailing from a family of entrepreneurs, Taryn keenly understands the importance of estate and succession planning within families and businesses. She brings this awareness into her practice and takes care to achieve the best outcomes possible for her clients.

In her free time, Taryn has too many hobbies to count (and she is unexceptional at all of them). Generally speaking, she enjoys working with her hands, dabbling in all sorts of crafts from woodworking to quilting. She lives near Culpeper with her husband and their very old, very lazy cat.
