Alvi is Of Counsel to the firm. Previously, she was a partner, and before that an associate. She decided to become of counsel in the pursuit of work-life balance. She is spending her newfound free time with her family, picking up and dropping hobbies, and making plans to exercise.
As Of Counsel, Alvi works primarily behind the scenes with the other lawyers here. She has experience working on the following types of matters, among others:
- probate and the administration of trusts and estates after a death
- matters before the commissioner of accounts
- the modification and termination of irrevocable trusts
- the design and preparation of estate plans
- wealth transfer tax planning
- the transition of family businesses
- the design, formation, and operation of LLCs, partnerships, and corporations
- guardianships and conservatorships of adults
- premarital agreements
